Mom's Day

Happy Mother's Day! We all went down to Connecticut to surprise Doug's mother and Grandmother (who had not yet met Beck) on Sunday. It was a beautiful day, and we had a wonderful time...it was great to see Doug's grandmother so happy with Beck in her arms!

Beck is three months old this week, and is such a blast! He's an easy kid, and is always ready with a smile...except when the camera is around...

Beck is 11 weeks old today and is weighing in at about 16 pounds and is 25 inches long. He is currently working on a new nap schedule, which is going quite well, despite his resistance to sleeping anywhere but on a warm body. He is a very mellow kid, with lots of smiles. Beck  is also working on fitting his entire fist in his mouth, and we predict him to be successful within the month.  He is looking forward to witnessing his first Ironman this coming June in Idaho, where his Papa will be competing. Shortly thereafter, Beck will begin his own training in hopes of not only becoming the youngest person ever to complete the grueling event, but also trimming off some of that "baby fat".
