Yes, it has been a while. And for that while, I thought that perhaps it was a good idea to stop blogging, now that Beck is getting old enough for strangers to recognize on the street. As every parent does, I fear those that would try to harm my child, and lately, I have become concerned about the future of the images we post on the internet. Who knows, really, what the "next big thing" will be...perhaps the ability to drag a mouse over a picture and have someone's name, address, and social security number show up. I don't know, but it's enough to scare me into being a bit more careful about what I do put online. However, after an emotional trip down bloggory lane, I have realized that this blog has unintentionally become a baby book of sorts...an album, a growth chart, and a journal. I do not know how many people still follow it, other than our parents, but I don't think it matters anymore...on a bad day, our greatest comfort is looking back on how far we have come as a family. It reminds us of the most important things in our lives, and that is priceless. So, for now, though the posts may be fewer and farther between, we are back on track with many stories to tell and images to share! The one image for today is shockingly truthful...our baby is now such a little boy!!
