Flashback Friday

This is a completely irrelevant post. But I found it in the archive of blog photos, and looking at it, I just want to squeeze Cora's cheeks and lie in the sun. So, in honor of the past, I am making "Flashback Friday" a ritual...I'm just going to post a photo from the last (five!) years that either made it to the blog or didn't.

Except, today is Saturday. Hmm.

Catching up

I have lots of it to do. So much. I have to do it in installments because the thought of doing it all at once is kind of scary. And it will probably be out of order. First, here is Thanksgiving in a nutshell. We had a really lovely day...Grampa and Lulu, plus a friend of Lulu's, joined us for the day. It was relaxing (not counting the two days of cooking I had before everyone showed up!) and the kind of day that I hope we will remember in years to come. After dinner, we all worked together on a gingerbread house...a "season kickoff" of sorts, I suppose. We are all so deeply grateful for the family we have, and that we are able to gather together often. There is so much love, it sometimes overwhelms me. And I mean that in the best way possible :)
