Little Birds

Beck's first dance recital was probably the most beautiful thing I have witnessed in a long time. Not because he was in it (which was, of course, a highlight), but because I felt honored to be a part of this work of art. The lack of art education in public schools now is so very heartbreaking to me, and I am so deeply grateful that my children are able to watch, absorb, and partake in just one of the many art forms out there. Elizabeth's musical choices and choreography were moving, to say the least. What a gift to us all.

I was commissioned to photograph the event (two days of performances), so there are many photographs to come. These are just from the Dance Beck was in, entitled "Baby Birds".
